About this product

This is a blue clay mask in a 100 g tube from the Korean brand medicube. The maker says it combines five clays, including kaolin, bentonite and Canadian colloidal clay, with three kinds of acids: glycolic acid (AHA), salicylic acid (BHA) and gluconolactone (PHA). The tube states 30% pore-purifying clay.

It goes on as a smooth mud and, per the maker, dries in about 3 to 5 minutes. The maker says it helps lift excess oil and dead skin from the pores and leaves skin feeling cool, tight and smoother. It is alcohol-free, per the maker.

Use it on clean, dry skin, on the nose, forehead and chin or on the whole face, but not near the eyes or mouth. The maker notes that the mask can come out a little watery at first, and that the colour can vary slightly between tubes because of ingredients such as guaiazulene. No brush is included.

How to use

Cleanse your face and make sure the skin is dry. Spread an even layer on the areas you want to focus on, such as the nose, forehead and chin, or over the face, keeping away from the eyes and mouth. Leave on for 3–5 minutes until the mask is completely dry, then rinse off thoroughly with lukewarm water. Drying time depends on how much you apply and on your skin type. Brush not included.
