About this product

This set holds two rinse-off peels from the Korean brand medicube. The Peel Shot (80 ml) is a serum-style gel for the face and comes in a dropper bottle. The Body Peel Shot (280 ml) comes in a pump bottle. The maker describes its texture as light and watery, so it spreads easily over larger areas of the body.

Both formulas contain hypochlorous acid and rice extract. You massage the gel onto dry skin, then rinse it off. The maker says the face serum helps lift away dead skin cells and excess oil. It says the body peel helps rough, bumpy areas feel smoother and makes ingrown hairs look less visible.

The formulas also contain panthenol, allantoin, ceramide NP and hyaluronic acid. Neither ingredient list includes perfume (parfum). The body peel contains denatured alcohol and tea tree leaf extract. The maker suggests starting with one or two uses a week.

How to use

Face Peel Shot (80 ml): After cleansing, apply a small amount to a dry face. Keep it away from the eyes and mouth. Massage gently, then rinse well with water or wipe off with a damp cloth. The maker suggests starting once or twice a week. Use it more often only if your skin stays comfortable. The maker says it can also be used on rough spots such as elbows and knees. Body Peel Shot (280 ml): Shake well before use. Apply to dry skin and massage gently over rough or bumpy areas. Rinse off well with lukewarm water. Afterwards, apply a body lotion or cream. The maker suggests using it twice a week. The maker also notes that a little product may harden around the pump nozzle, and says this does not affect quality.
