About this product

This is d'Alba's First Spray Serum. It is a light face mist with two layers, a watery serum and a golden oil, and you shake them together before each use. The maker presents it as a quick moisture boost and an easy way to get a fresh, dewy look at any time of day.

The maker builds the formula around white truffle extract from Italy, paired with vitamin E. The ingredient list also includes niacinamide, avocado oil and a mix of plant oils and extracts. d'Alba says the oil layer makes it different from a plain water mist and leaves a longer-lasting glow.

You can use it as a step in your skincare, before make-up to prepare the skin, or over make-up when the finish looks dry or powdery. d'Alba says it is dermatologist-tested, non-comedogenic and vegan. It contains fragrance.

How to use

Shake the bottle well before each use so the two layers mix. Close your eyes and spray 4–5 times onto clean skin from about 10–20 cm away, then pat in gently. Use it as a step in your skincare, before make-up to prepare the skin, or over make-up to refresh it or as a finishing spray. Over make-up, spray from a little further away to avoid smudging. Do not breathe in the mist.
